Here are some open-source projects and personal ideas that I think deserve attention, work and/or contribution. This is sort of a personal scratch pad and wish list for now anyways…
- Tag an AAC/MP3/MP4/etc media meta-tag editor but no where as good as mp3tag.
- Address Book update contact pictures/details/profile links from Facebook
- iTunes plug-in for writing disk images from larger-than-DVD playlists.
And here are some smaller scripty ideas…
- Convert DAISY audio books to M4B with chapters and metadata from smil/html files.
- iTunes import album artwork from existing Folder.jpg files.
- Python scan + download movie posters from impawards.com when missing Folder.jpg files.
- JSFL batch render Flash FLA to QuickTime videos. done
- Command-line batch caption images using Python and CoreImage. done
